Day 1: Lawrenceburg, Ky to Mt Vernon, Mo

After a rocky start, Bob asking about Gene Snyder while I was looking at my tablet I said yeah take Gene Snyder North  and then pick up I-64. Which would have been good directions if we were not already on I-64. We were pelted with rain and heavy storms off and on all day. Lunch stop in New Harmony, In and dinner in Springfield, Mo. Resting in a Best Western in Mt Vernon, Mo and hoping for better weather tomorrow.
